I’ve removed a writing resource from the list of websites on the Discover page of this site.
Apparently the NaNoWriMo website shut down completely in May, leaving writers who participated in their annual 50,000-word writing challenge without access to their past or current work saved there.
A little googling shows that the organization—whose acronym stands for National Novel Writing Month—has been hit with a hail of controversy over one thing or there other that I won’t repeat here.
It’s a shame, since the challenge resulted in my writing three 50,000-word projects that proved to myself that I could generate that draft content.
That’s it for now. Thanks for showing up. It matters.
